Okay the first one is an application of Zaino Z2. To me the area on the door was applied thin enough and the area on the front quarter was too much. Either way I still had problems with streaking after letting it sit for a few hours. Someone else mentioned I may have gotten a bad batch so i will try a newer bottle I got to see. I will post additional pics of how it turned out, which was quite well!

Here is the final product. Since I don't have a digital camera, the photos don't appear nearly as good as they do in person. In person the pictures are sick! Check out the clarity (for some reason the scanner input specs which are not on the photo), and shine. This is a pic of my opened trunk. It's hard to tell what's real and whats the reflection.

That streaking is usually from too much zaino being applied or not letting it dry long enough before you wipped it off.

 

i have streaks all over the car after first zaino, which i wasn't too happy with result especially under the sunlight.. how can i get rid of them??? should redo the whole process? also i still have swirl marks and scratches present after applying second coat of z2.. plz advise me.

Z2 and Z5 are interchangeable so go back to Z5. Before applying Z2 or Z5, be sure to moisten the applicator with Z6 (spray). Z5 will get rid of swirls and very minor scratches. Zaino reco's anywhere from 1-5 coats I believe. Be sure to let each coat cure and spray the car down with Z6 just prior to a new application. Zaino reco's to always finish with Z2 as it will enhance the depth and shine. Again, always let the prior coat cure (usually a day after the polish is removed).
I had tons of trouble too starting out. That's why I posted the pics. On the one where the wax is applied, the fender has too much and the door is about right. From the feedback I have received, you should be able to get at least 2 coats, possibly 3-4 out of 1 ounce of Z2. That's how thin it needs to be applied. I always had some streaks remaining, but I immediately followed up with Z6 which eliminated all streaks as you can tell by the picture of my opened trunk. From what I understand, you should apply it so thin that you can barely tell it's on.
I would wait until you have a nice weekend or a few days off and each day give it a coat of Z5 until the swirls are gone. Then begin with Z2. I have been trying to get about 1 coat of Z2 every week or 2. I have about 4 now and will probably only do a couple more.
One last note, someone on this forum did mention that he got a bad bottle of Zaino once. I believe he said to test it by making an X on a window with Z2 and give it about 1.5 - 2 hrs to dry. If you try to remove and it streaks, it's a bad bottle. I haven't tried it yet with mine, but I think my problem was putting it on way too heavy! It has gotten better since I have learned to apply it thinner. Next time I, I am going to use a different bottle of Z2 and see if that helps!
