Light scratch removal - noob seeking advice
I've got some light scratches on the front bumper of my car, which were caused by brushing against one of those flexible fiberglass poles used to mark our driveway edges during the winter. They seem pretty light & look worse in the photos, as they disappear when the car is wet but reappear when dry.
Looking for some advice the best way to go about removing these. Someone I spoke with suggested a light-duty liquid rubbing compound on a dry MF towel. I don't own a buffer so I'd need to apply whatever by hand.
Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

Your success will depend on how deep the abrasions are. Any good light to medium cut compound should work and you can probably beg for some at the local body shop.
Scratch-X should work okay on light scratches as well.
