Restoring the Headlights

So I did a quick, and i mean quick research on the simplest way to clean my headlights..they have, excuse me, HAD pretty bad hazing and yellowing on them. I went to autozone today and picked up a bottle (dnt ask for the brand at the moment) of headlight lense restorer. It has a blue top and the fluid is blue. I also bought a 100% cotton terry cloth and spreaded and buffed as the directions said..I was so excited about the results I did my dad's truck . I have a few before and after pics:

ONE MORE BEFORE:

AFTER I GOT HOME AND DID IT A SECOND TIME:

A simple cleaner wax or any rubbing compound should do the trick.

Also, wet sanding with very fine grit sand paper, followed some rubbing compound or cleaner wax also does the trick for headlights that are pretty bad.

i had the headlight lens restorer stuff with the blue top, and it worked okay.
since then i've found that polishing compund works better, but it doens't last very long. i have to do it about once a month
