Black plastic around sideview mirror

The black plastic around my sideview mirror is all white and faded looking. How do I get this to look new again?

use peanut oil or an eraser if theres dried up wax/polish on it, and then restore using the product BLACK WOW.

I use a little bit of tire shine on a rag and wipe again with a dry rag or towel, taking the excess off.

...but like with any other tire shine, the shine goes away after a week or so(or when it rains). Even after it washes away and becomes dull again, it still looks slightly better than it was before.

Yeah, gotta hit it with the BLACK WOW (or some other vinyl restorer, however I prefer WOW cause it has no dyes) first to bring back the original color, then you can switch out to something like a vinyl dressing to maintain it once a week.

funny since over the weekend I was talking to Richard, who invented Black Wow. A friend of his brought his car over for advice on how to maintain his car - popped out Black Wow and it made you saw 'wow'
