Neglected Wheels
The previous owner neglected the wheels on my car. I am getting ready to do a full detail next week so I would like some help with this.
There are some spots on the wheels that won't come off. What can I do about them?
Also, there is damage around lug nuts and some curb rash, how much would something like that cost to get fixed?
Spots

Damage and that that color difference is a spot too

More damage around lug nuts

Curb rash

But can you explain on what you did
there is no way to get those stains out, and since you have curb damage and air rachet damage, you need to get them refinished. powdercoating is failrly expensive and more durable. painting them would be the cheapest way out, still around $300-$500 buck would be my guess.

Yep, those can't be cleaned. They are damaged. But, comma, if anyone has baked on brake dust I found that WD-40 works miracles. Do not spray on. You may get it on the brake parts. Spray a lot on a paper towel, apply, let it soak for a couple of minutes, black sh--t comes right off. A friends aluminum rims looked black because he never cleaned the brake dust and the WD-40 worked awesome. I used Zaino afterwards. My pet peeve is people who regularly wash their cars and neglect their wheels.
