Just debaged my new G35
Hi all -
Thanks to some great tips here I just debaged the rear deck of my new G35 couple (diamond graphite). I remove the "g35" and "infiniti" letters but left the logo.
I just lifted up a corner of each letter with my fingernail and then pried it up. A few needed some help so I used a thin plastic putty knife to pry them off. This worked well but I read another tip of using dental floss to saw them off which sounde like a good idea too.
I clean the glue off with "Goo Gone" spray citrus cleaner. I let it soak a minute and used a terry cloth towel to rub the rest of the glue off. As the final step I used some Meguiars Show Car Glaze polish to buff off a small film of the adhesive off the paint.
All in all it too ten minutes and I think makes nice improvement (see the pic).
Thanks to all the folks that posted ideas to get me doing this.
