Detailing engine bay

What do yall use to clean up the engine bay? I have tons of dust and compound stuff left over from the body shop on everything and in all the nooks and crannys. What do you recommend to clean it up with and what cleaning up stainless braided line etc....

i keep mine fairly clean with just some soapy water and a cloth or brush.... and then rinse... But when i had my TL, i neglected the motor more than i did my G, and i used simple green, covered the alternator and batter with a bag, and sprayed everywhere....
