Does anyone know if the actual emblem has hardware securing it to the trunk? Or can I remove it like I did the letters w/ simple fishing line and goo gone? thanks for the help.

 

do you have a coupe or sedan?

if you have a coupe then all thats securing the rear emblems are 3M tape..
heat up the emblem and use a fish line and take it off then like you said
use goo gone..

if you have a sedan
i think its the same
someone correct me if im wrong

 

The sadans have two little line up holes.
