Re: Water spots on glass

I am down on the Gulf of MS, I do not think that the water is very hard here. I think the small DIY carwash just had some bad water, and I was unable to dry the glass properly, I had to use the cheap crappy towels you can buy at the carwash. Never again, I have noticed that the clay bar did take off some of the water spots but I think I might try some of that stuff from home depot since I have not made the time to do the rest of the glass yet, although I am a little apprehensive on getting any of that stuff on my paint.

You could be right, our water here is like stone. Do you get any rain with remnants of salt water down there? Guess that would be hard on the paint, but probably would just wash off. As to your earlier post, no, the Stoner's won't remove hard water spots, but it's an exceptional glass cleaner, IMO!

I use Klasse All-in-One on my windows ... easily removes water spots! In between I use Stoner's or Sprayway #50.

Has anyone tried applying a couple coats of rainX? It's not abrasive at all but the "buffing" motions used to apply it and remove it have helped to remove the annoying water spots.
