Sorry I havent posted too many cars lately, work has been killing me! This is just a side hobby for me. Anyways, this one took me much longer than I thought it was going to, the paint was suuuuuuper thing, some in the low 90's and it was not repainted very well, another case of "sticky" paint.

Very nice job. How long did it take you? I wonder how all this work will look on my black G. Let me know if you want a customer :)

Cause- It adds resistance to the polisher, increasing friction induced heat, which dries out the lubrication. The cause could be product reside (silicone, wax or sealant, etc) interfering with the polishing process.

Correction – methods vary (dependent upon paint mfg.);

(a) Cleaning the paint surface to remove debris (silicone, wax or sealant, etc)

(b) Using less downward pressure and using a less aggressive (softer) foam pad

(c) Add lubrication (mineral oil)

(d) Use a random orbital polisher (speed 4)
