Zaino Z-10 Leather Care

I just received my first order of Z-10 Leather in a bottle. I cleaned my drivers seat with Z-9 first and then applied Z-10 to the seat with a microfiber cloth. Everywhere that I touched the cloth with conditioner to the leather it lightened the color of the leather. As I continued to apply the product it appears that these spots eventually evened out but the entire area seems to be a tad lighter, is this normal? Literally, if I put a dot of conditioner on a spot on the seat it will become much lighter, the interior is Gray. Is this due to the seats never being cleaned... I also notice some gray coming off on the cloth while applying the Z-10 product. I tried this in my wife's vehicle and had the same results... Just concerned that it is removing the pigmentation, might just be dirt... Z-9 didnt seem to create any rub off color..

I have the stone interior and haven't had that issue. Curious it didn't happen with the cleaner, but did with the conditioner.

Keep us updated.

It actually looks pretty good this morning, noticeably softer than the untreated seats and some of the wrinkles seem less pronounced... I think I applied it a little to thick, I'll try the rest this weekend and use less product.

i got the same z9/z10 combo and if you spray it directly onto the seat, it will lighten it up in spots if you spray it to close. the drips will be even more pronounced. obviously you can't get in every little minuscule crease to even it out. i usually mist as much as i can onto small areas and then spray some on a damp terry cloth towel to kind of work the cleaner in. i think if you just used a dry towel, it will just soak up the cleaner a little sooner than you would want. i wish the conditioner smell lasted longer.

I did a thorough job on the seats this past weekend and am really happy with the results. I also admit that the smell disappears too quickly, can hardly smell it anymore. I also did the wife's car with very good results. Im now a loyal customer...
