Exclamation Paint and wheel damage.

So I bought my 05 coupe a few weeks ago and just got it detailed yesterday. To my dismay, when I got it back, the crap on the front bumper and hood was not actually just grime and bug juice, but rock chips and stains from the acid or whatever is in the bug juice. The lip has also been scraped on both sides by the previous owner. I want my car to look brand new so i guess I'm going to need to get the bumper and lip painted. How much do you guys estimate this will cost me? Another ? about my wheels- there is rash on all 4 of them. How much will I be looking at to get them repaired? Finally, the trim on the outside of the windows looks like it is rotting. The guy that detailed the car said he did'nt have anything to make it look new. Is there such a product? Heres a few pics of the damage.

You didn't notice those scraps when you bought the car? Those are pretty nasty.

You're looking at roughly $500-$1000 to paint the bumper.

Your trim, from what I can tell is a pretty easy fix. Use the search and find a thread where someone asked about rubber trim and what not. They listed multiple products to bring that back to life. It's not rotting it's just dehydrated. Only stuff I have used on trim is mothers back to black. Just tape off your glass and paint when you use it because it's a bitch to clean off.

Thanks. I noticed the scrapes but I got a pretty good deal on the car so I let it slide. They look bad but most people don't even notice them since they are so low.

I agree with the paint estimate. For the rubber trim use Forever Black. It is a permanent dye, not a temporary dressing.
