Help with Detailing

My brothers G35 now has these swirls, scratches and white specs all over his car...Any suggestions on what I should do before he chooses to go to a professional to get it detailed?

You'll need to invest in a buffer, pads, and an abrasive polish.
On top of that, you'll need a good car wash, claybar, and fresh microfiber towels.
And easy, cheap, and safe buffer for beginners is a Porter Cable 7424.
Use it with a white polishing pad or orange cutting pad and a good medium to light cutting polish and those swirls will be history.
Then, you can follow it up with your favorite wax/sealant for protection against the elements.

Just follow this order:
Wash > Clay > Polish > Protect

As for those white specs... those are paint chips... you'll have to live with those unless you get your bumper repainted.

Those imperfections look pretty bad. I would take it to a professional and learn how to maintain it. Where are you located?

It kind of sounds like some kind of paint specs since those are very small and he said all over the car instead of just on the bumper.

Well, my bro told me there was construction by his car one day so im thinking rocks might have hit it. The specs are only on the front bumper its just the swirls and scratches are all over the car. Do you think alot of time trying to use touch up paint on the front bumper will work, im unsure of how much painting a bumper will cost. We are located in central florida.

I know of a few very good detailers in FL if you decide to go that route. If you've never done touch up work before, then trying to do that entire bumper will probably turn out pretty bad. I would just get it resprayed.
