**WARNING** Finish Line Detailing E. Hanover NJ
I brought my 2005 IP coupe to this place for a detailing. The car has Work Varienza T1s rims with black centers and polished, clearcoated lips and rims.
They charged 200 for a in/out detail. Results were so-so but they must have used something on the wheel that damaged the clearcoat on the lips. They were spotted and had puddles where the solution pooled
at the bottom.
The owner/manager (John) gave me a hard time first saying that they were brought in like that (They weren't) and that they didn't cause the damage. After much arguing, he agreed to split the cost of refinishing the wheels at about 150/wheel. I reluctantly agreed figuring another 300 to get them right.
I went to the best place for wheel refinishing by me (USA wheels in Fairfield, NJ) to confirm the price and they agreed with 150/wheel.
When it came time to drop off my car at Finish line, I asked John if I could take it to USA wheel. He became enraged and said that he had a guy to do it for 75/wheel. I said so I would only be resposible for 150? He said no it would be 300. I asked him what happened to him paying half?? He said to take the wheels and shove them uip my f-ing ***.
I'll never go there again and I recommend that no one else does either.

Take him to court, especially if you have dated pictures of the wheels recently before the detail, etc. I've never done anything like that but I'd imagine it wouldn't be too hard to at least recoup costs of refinishing the wheels, but frankly I'd go after them for a new set altogether.
T1S's aren't cheap, no reason for you to just let them off the hook so easily, seems like they feel absolutely no accountability for messing up your $4k wheels.

Sorry to hear about that. Any place that is near a knock off Ferrari isn't that great. They have decent quick washes, but I like to do my own detailing. If you need help, I'm local to you and I'd be more than willing to help you in any way. You may have seen me around. I have the Blue G coupe with the carbon fiber hood. The only one around town.
