I can't seem to find a plain (blank) chrome license plate frame for our cars. I've found a dozen variations of logos + g35 + infiniti, but not just a boring plain old chrome one.

Currently I've got the one from the dealer (ack), but I suppose if I can't find one I'll just get one that says G35 in the center. I guess this makes sense, since I debadged the g35 lettering (like the centered look more).

I have model "C" from Griot's Garage. It's a very nice frame with chrome screw caps and a clear license plate cover included. I didn't install the license plate cover though because it's illegal in CA.

Try Target - - $9.00 will get you a very high quality, plain chrome frame. I have on both cars...

It's not plain, but I found this one for about $15 online at www.autoattire.com; I liked it the most of all the ones I saw so I got 2...one for my G35 and one for our FX35!! I didn't care for the ones that said "G35." I just wanted a good quality license plate frame which had the Infiniti symbol(s) on it...this one says "Infiniti" in the middle and has an Infiniti symbol on each side. I think they may have some plain ones too.

Although I received my chrome license plate frame from the dealership, I was surprised when I accidentally came across the plain chrome frames at Target, which included the chrome caps.
