How to pick a detail shop?
How to pick a detail shop?
I live in an apartment building, and there's no way for me to wash or wax my car myself. I'm wondering what I should look for in a detail shop. What questions should I ask?
Re: How to pick a detail shop?
Although I've not used a professional detailer yet, my first questions would be:
1. What do you do for the $
2. What products do you use
3. Let me see some of your work
Good Luck!

Xman's right. Experience is also a must........ask them how many years they've been doing this.

Re: How to pick a detail shop?
Not sure, as long as they use good quality products I would think it's OK. See what other people on this forum use. As for myself, I use:
Zaino or Mothers car wash, Z2, Z5, Z6
Z10 - leather in a bottle (conditioner)
Zaino clay bar
Tarminator - tar remover
Mothers metal polish
303 Aerospace Protectant for plastic surfaces
Tuff Stuff Foam cleaner for carpet
Turtle Wax Wet 'n Black for the tires
