I don't what did I do to @#$ up the G ?
I spent several hours cleaning and waxing my coupe on Sunday. and the I almost cried.
It looked #$% horrible. The finish is shiny, but with a sort of haze to it.
It already looks horrible becuase of the million stone chips and where some @#$ rubbed by front bumper.
I washed the G and then waited until 7:30PM when it was cooler and I applied Meguiar's Liquid Cleaner Wax and then
Meguiar's Quik-Detailer.
Words cannot discribe the way the finish looks. HELP!

Re: I don't what did I do to @#$ up the G ?
It tough to help without knowing the exact problem. My guess is that if you started at 7:30, maybe it was cooling off too much and there was some condensation. Just a guess, in general, I am not a fan of Meguires, but to each his own. Anyway, I would start by washing the car with a mild concentraion of Dawn liquid soap n water. This will strip the wax you just put on. Do a search on different waxes people use, again, everyone has their own preference, but you should be able to get a good idea on this forum what the top choices are. After washing the and letting it dry, clay it and inspect the finish for swirl marks, scratches etc. It's important to get all that out before you wax/polish. Apply whatever wax you choose as directed. I would def recommend applying it very thinkly and in the shade. My choice of polish is Zaino and I have gotten many compliments. I found it to be a bit difficult to use, but the more I use it, the better I get using it.
Just thinking of it now, it is possible that the car was too hot when you applied the spray detailer and/or it dried before you were able to get it all off. Try using the spray again, smaller sections, and early in the moring when it is still cool.
