Clear plastic tape on sedan front bumper bottom
Clear plastic tape on sedan front bumper bottom
After owning my sedan for a year, the piece of clear plastic covering-tape that is on the bottom part of the front bumper (non-body-kit) is starting to peel. Anyone else having this problem, from the winters/scraping/washing? Anyone done anything to replace it? Or should I just rip it off and start armour-alling more frequently?

Mine came off the 2nd week thanks to a cement curb that was too high.
No evidence it was ever there. I think it is meant to be removed after delivery of vehicle.

I had the same problem. Ended up just removing the piece outright. I actually scrapped the bottom of it on a parking curb about two weeks after picking up the car.
I apply some protectant to it every other washing time.

LOL...
That plastic is just for shipping protection.
Most of the dealers just don't take it off during prep.
