Detailed Pics: Lakeshore Slate 6MT

Spent a few hours on my car Friday.
Products used:
Meguiar's Gold Class Car Was Shampoo & Conditioner
Meguiar's Ultimate Compound
Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Bar
Meguiar's Show Car Glaze
Meguiar's Hi-tech Yellow Wax

I've had the car 4 months now, and I'm still taking care of the scum buildup where body trim meets body panels in places. Last week I took the trim from the bottom of the doors to clean the edge. This week in addition to the full detail, I was running a toothpick and the Ultimate Compound into the edge of the door moldings and around Mt. Fuji on the trunk. I'm looking for a safe way to remove and reattach the roof line moldings to finish cleaning there.

No full-car shots at the moment, as the carport isn't a great backdrop.

Anyway, enough talk, here's the pics:

Dings... bane of the daily driver...

A couple days in a row of heavy rain out here (Hawaii.. sigh) so now there's plenty of next-lane splatter on the sides.

More pictures will have to wait.

Sorry, but it's been raining every day during the morning commute (winters in Hawaii...) so even freshly cleaned, I can't really claim any pictures now as indicative of the detail. Regardless, I still want to get some fresh pictures.

Looks nice. Dings on a DD mean nothing. Mine is a DD and not a ding on it lol

I love LS when its clean. Such a nice color.

Talking 28 Days Later...

Here's the much-delayed full-car shots after a wash.

Not quite the smoothness to the paint after a month of rain and such, but I did get asked if this was the '10 model .

I think picasa compresses them a little more than it should, but

... and now I hear pouring rain outside.

Looks great, I remember when my car looked like that.

I do think you need a mild drop, even with your 18's it would look good.
