What wax if I only have time for one step?

Hi,

I have an 03 Black G with 90k and people still think it is new. Until now, I've followed a lengthy wax process with products from Detailed Image. Wash -> clay -> wash -> polish -> 50/50 alcohol-water -> glaze -> seal. Well I don't have that kind of time this fall. What can I get at Walmart or Autozone to get me through the winter? Hopefully I'll have time in the spring to go back to my routine.

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks

Thanks for the tip. NXT did the trick. After 90k daily driver miles it isn't looking as new as it used to.

If you have already purchased products from DI, why not just use the sealant you purchased from them? It will be much more durable throughout the winter months compared to a wax.

But if you want to stick with a carnuba and time is valuable, I would recommend Optimum Car Wax. OCW is a great spray on carnuba that looks great. It lacks a little in durability compared to say Megs NXT, but you can wax your entire G in 5 mins. Comes in handy when you want paint protection and don't have much time.
