Polishing Wheel Lips

I'm looking to give my wheels a once over while they are in the garage for the winter. I'd love to bring the polished lips back to the original luster.
I was hoping to use my PC and avoid unnecessary amounts of elbow grease.

Is there a pad or buffer wheel that anyone can suggest to me?

You probably need to post a pic of your wheels so we can even see what you're working with.

I'll see what I can do over the weekend in terms of photos.
MRR appears to have put some sort of clearcoat on the polished lips of my wheels. With two summers behind them now, this coating has taken a bit of a beating. Tiny pieces of tar/road debris imbed in the clear coat and when washed off, they take this coating with them. I now have tiny spots where the coating is gone.

From two to three feet away, the wheels still look fantastic. Up close, you can see the flaws and flaws are unacceptable to me, so they have to go. I'm just shopping for the easiest approach.

A wheel shop has a buffer designed for just polishing lips which rotates the wheel at an angle as it buffs the lip. I'm looking for something that I can use on my PC to get a similar end result.
The mini power ball is good for cleaning and waxing, but to polish out blemishes and flaws, I'll need something with a bit more meat behind it.

Thanks guys... I'll post pics and see what others have to suggest.

Definitely post at least the wheel model. I might even recommend contacting MRR to see what they recommend -- if the lips are polished, raw aluminum, you can damage them by using the wrong products/methods. Then a re-polish is really expensive.

Going through the same issue now, except its gotten worse. All the polishing in the world is not going to do anything with that clear on there. I am going to strip the clear on mine and keep them polished, I know its more of a headache, but I guess the shine of the lips will be worth the polishing every other week
