Re: Would you pay $20 for titanium touch-up paint?

I haven't done a serious examination of the touch-up paint to the wheels yet. Should be pretty damn decent though. Right now, I'm just working on the titanium console part of it. I wet sanded the primer on "huge" plastic piece last night, which I will then paint titanium. If the weather stays good this weekend, i'll have pictures of the touch-up paint on the wheels. I want to take pictures in sunlight, overcast light, and under an incandescent bulb so people will know exactly what they are getting.

i dont even NEED it... or want it... cause i havent chipped any paint and mine all still looks like it just came off the showroom floor.... but i KNOW eventually i will mess a little something up on my dash.... and i would pay 20 bucks EASILY for a perfect match

2004 Black on Black g coupe 6spd.... aluminum pedals, clear corners, z tube, and pop charger. soon to have 19" volk gt-c's and PIAA xtreme whites in the clearance and corners

Firstly people, you can get a bottle of the touchup paint from grubbsperformance.com for I think 8 dollars...I have used it to touch up my wheels and it works excellently...The question really is, does it match the interior center console/door handles?? I actually just installed an AVIC-N1 in the cubby, and am having a new lid fabricated, just having trouble finding the right color paint to match...

It ain't just a Nissan!

I cant seem to find it on their website now...I bought it about 4 months ago...Id suggest calling them directly and seeing if you can purchase it...They may have just forgotten to add it to their online store since they revamped the website...

I'm not going to sell it if I'm not satisfied with it. I'll set aside a good amount of time this weekend to work on it. Should have some sort of update Monday. Hopefully it will be a good one.

Just to give you guys a update on this. Ive been mixing my batch for days now!! I put MANY hours into this! It still didnt come out right on! So I sent it to the paint store where my shop gets its paint. They have a color matcher there. It cost a lot of $$ but I wanted my console to match. Well its still not a 100% dead on! But its close enough for me. If anyone else is mixing some up and its DEAD on. YOU ARE THE MAN!!!

If it matches the 03/04 sport wheels and another to match the interior trim would be good. I think it has to be a bit lighter than what you put it on, since touch up paint tends to darken a bit once applied. Not as noticeable on a blk sedan.
