Paint problems
Paint problems
Hey, my '04 sedan is 10 days old (to me anyway) and has a couple of paint imperfections I'd like to take care of. I'm including pictures because there appear to be 3 different types of problem.

This appears to be a ding from a rock in the passenger-side A pillar. At least, that's my best guess.

This group of ... I don't know what to call them ... are on the hood near the right front fender.

This deep ding is on the left front fender between the wheel well and the door. Pardon the dirt, it's winter here and keeping my G clean is proving to be a challenge.
SO I love my G and want to get her looking her best. She's got 140,000 miles on her, so I'm realistic in my expectations. These look like problems I may be able to fix with a little coaching. I've never done detailing, just try to keep my ride clean and maintained. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

What about Dr. Paint Chips
Been reading the forums since I posted. Looks like Dr. Paint Chips might work on these areas (at least the hood and the A pillar).
Also, I incorrectly identified the location of the 3rd ding...it is on the driver's door, which any experienced G owner can probably tell from the location of the molding. That one, while it is small, I am thinking may require a little body compound because it appears to have punctured the surface of the metal. I am thinking that is a bit of a priority.
