Exclamation Need HELP! Removing hard water stains

So recently my parents picked up a car for my lil brothers. on the windows there are hard water stains. Ive tried windex and clay bar but that didn't work. Is there anything else that i can use that can get rid of those hard water stains. Any help would be much appreciated...

If it's just the glass, 0000 steel wool and white vinegar can work. If that doesn't cut it, you'll need to get a glass polishing kit.

^ hahahha Sounds stupid funny, but I have wet sanded a few aquariums with big time water stains... and it seems to work fine for me... no scratches made by wetsanding it either... I used 2000 grit paper btw...
