Graphics and Decals

I am considering putting graphics and/or decals on my red coupe. Has anyone on this forum done this?
I am so clueless about colours that I am afraid to pick a colour scheme.
If I was good with photo shop I could "try" out the look
What colours complement a Laser Red G?
Edited by irony on 09/22/04 01:13 PM.

Why would you do such a thing? May I ask where you are located?

Re: Graphics and Decals

I'm in South Jersey close to Philly.....not that that has anything to with wanting graphics. The G looks too "blah" and I certainly do not want to rice it up...but just something tasteful...but not too much.
Take a look at this site

Well, I believe you'll get harsh criticism, whether you hear it or not. I know the location has nothing to do with graphics.. I just don't want to see a G35 coupe with graphics on it in person =)

Re: Graphics and Decals

IMO, the only things graphics like the ones pictured above say are 1. "Hello, Boy-Racer," 2. Tacky, tacky, tacky (especially on a $35k+ Infiniti for everyday driving), and 3. "Hey, Officer (or Mr. State Trooper), I'm right here...Watch how fast I can go!!!!"

Your choice, man...to each his own. ;-)

That would definitely "rice it up" and be tasteless.

i'm not a big fan of graphics but if your still dead set on gettin some at least consider the nismo graphics kit...somewhat subtle/clean but still something i wouldn't do...

Graphics on a LR coupe

Here's the president of our local G club's car. He's got a mod or two.

Re: Graphics and Decals

The graphics on that red car look awesome! I would sooo do that if the G wasn't my daily drive. Also, black looks good without graphics. If I had a red / blue car it would sway me more into doing it. For now, my car is fine. I wonder if he would get sick of those stickers.

Thanks - Joey Avino

Re: Graphics and Decals

I think the Nismo graphic is too "blah"...a stripe of graphic along the side of the G just will not do it for. Also no flames...no Injen graphic kit unless they are paying me $$$....no decals....!!!
true the only vehicles you see with graphics/decals are usually commerical vehicles.
99% of all cars on the road are the same colour they were sold.
The G Coupe is a very nice "unique" car; but damn everybody has the same limited colours.
I am not about to repaint the entire car; only touch up the front will all those stone chips.
So I am looking for a uniquely creative look.
Is that too much to ask for?
