Re: HAZE ON HEADLIGHT PLASTIC

Stuff from mcguires called PlastiX works great for me. The 1st time it happened I thought it was condensation build up on the inside of the housing. Took it to the dealer and they buffed it out for me and said it happens from time to time. so the next time I went to Checker and picked this stuff up and it worked. Give it a try.

Re: HAZE ON HEADLIGHT PLASTIC

imRACERX,

Its great stuff!!! I used it this year after the winter and the covers looked like new. I had to apply a couple of times but the product is easy to use.

Good Luck!!!

3M makes a plastic polisher and that's what Infiniti recommeds to use and the ONLY thing to use. I don't know why.

Re: HAZE ON HEADLIGHT PLASTIC

mcguires also makes a separate cleaner and polish which work pretty damn good. I've even used it on my neighbor's mustang crapped out lights..talk about seeing 200% difference. You can get these from a professional shop. McGuires website can help you find a shop near you.

It's a G thang, you wouldn't understand...No Really, you won't understand unless you have one.

Re: HAZE ON HEADLIGHT PLASTIC

After removing the haze on the lights, you should consider getting some headlight protection film to keep the lights looking new. If interested, pm me.

Re: HAZE ON HEADLIGHT PLASTIC

If you have a buffer, you can just wax your headlights! I used the buffer on my headlights about 2 months ago while I was waxing the car and the haze hasn't come back. Just a suggestion for anyone who owns a buffer!

buffing is the answer...i hope

Had my lights buffed at the dealer today. 200% improvement. I'd been using a plastic polish(by hand) which helped, but the haze would come back in a month or so. Hopefully the clarity will last after buffing rather than hand polishing.

Only time will tell
