Shadow wont go away, Help pro detailers!

i debadged it a few months ago. after reading some advice i was hopping perhaps the sun would fade it away. but its done nothing. just makes it stand out ever worse. I"ve washed clayed, used meguairs ultimate compound and then waxed it , and still nothing. what can i do to get rid of this thing. its a G35 shadow and one on the opposite side of the dealership emblem.

Have the same problem with the Z. Done research, and found nothing. It's annoying as hell.

you tried a good buffing wheel? I would try to wet sand it a bit but you should not have to do that. A good compound should have taken that out.

Can you take better pictures? There is a mode called "Macro" on your camera used for close ups. Use it. Also put your finger pointing at spots it helps focus on the spots.

^6,7,8th pictures are the best you can see the G35 still. I think you might have to do a small scuff with 2500. Then buff it back up. It almost looks stained lighter

that sucks, best advice is and what you'll be most happy with is probably going to be having it blended. Wish I could help.

possible remedies:
wetsand
compound
polish
cleanerwax

you definitely need a machine to go at it.

Also, what year is the car, and how long has the badge been on there? It almost seems if cars aren't debadged within 6-12 months, its always going to show signs of shadowing (*almost)

You have compound just take some 2500 grit sandpaper WET and hit it lightly to blend it in. Then Do ALOT of hand rubbing with compound. Or take it to a body shop they know how to sand and buff.

DO NOT SAND UNLESS YOU HAVE A MACHINE AVAILABLE AND KNOW HOW TO USE IT!!!!!

golden rule - if you cant get a machine to it properly, do not sand!
