How to clean black plastic on bottom?

My car has the black plastic along the bottom like this:

Forgive me for not knowing the proper name of this part. I am looking for suggestions on cleaning and protecting this piece from getting dirty and showing dirt so easily. Thanks!

You can clean it with diluted all purpose cleaner (Megs APC+, OPT, etc.), then protect with 1z vinyl- rubber or 303 protectant.

Poorboys Trim Restorer would also be another good product to use.

Black WOW works really well on unpainted plastic trim.
