I think I may just have to put an order in since your twisting my arm LOL.

Quick question. Purchased a used G and the previous owner must of been a girl (or a guy with really long finger nails) and the inside of where the door handle is, is all scratched up.
What would you recommend for this?

What you'll want to use is a light polish by hand using a foam applicator pad and something like Meguiar's M205. If they are deep, you probably want to pair the 205 with M105 and use that first, then follow up with the M205. Here's a polishing guide by hand how-to.

That should help reduce the marks quite a bit.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

Thanks for the quick reply DI. I have 1z Einszett polish wax and glanz wax.
Do you think that would work, or am I better off with the meguiars stuff you posted.
Could the meguiars be used on the entire car by hand? Or would i be better off using the 1z for the car and the meguiars for the scratches?

Shopping cart so far:

DI Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel - 36" x 24" $17.99
DI Microfiber Ultra Plush Two Sided Towel - 16" x 16" $5.99
Optimum (OPT) Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer - 17 oz $9.99
P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner - 500 ml Kit $13.99
Lake Country Tire Dressing Applicator $1.99
Chemical Guys Extreme V.R.T. Dressall - 16 oz $9.99
Optimum (OPT) No Rinse Wash & Shine New Formula (ONR) - 32 oz $15.99
303 Aerospace Protectant - 16 oz $12.99
DI Accessories Gentle Fine Grade Clay - 200 g $14.99
Dodo Juice Born Slippy Clay Lube Concentrate - 250 ml $12.99

Trying to keep it at around 100 bucks.

Thanks in advance for you help.
Ozzie.

Ozzie.
Hey Ozzie. The products I mentioned are polishes, where the products you mentioned are forms of protection. A polish contains abrasive particles designed to level your clear coat, which is how you remove swirls and scratches. The 1Z products wouldn't do that, they would add protection. Chances are the polish wax is a chemical polish, not an abrasive one, so you'd still need to pick up the M105/M205 to remove those scratches.

The rest of your cart looks great, lots of great products!

Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
