I recently purchased a used 2006 Infinity G35x.
May sound like stupid question, but wondering what is actually chrome on G35x (OEM). Looks like front grill and frame around windows are chrome. Tail pipe is probably steel. Would obviously use chrome cleaner to maintain chrome parts. The question is what is really chrome? While at Infinity dealership I asked front desk in service deparmant and they didn't know. He asked a salesman who said window frames are chrome but front grill is not chrome. Claimed front grill would chip to easy if it were chrome.

 

ALl of those parts you mentioned are chrome painted plastic. Real chrome is all metal but in this case it's chromed plastic.
