I have a dent/chip on the front 1/4 panel, it's about 1/8th of an inch, but it's an eye sore because of the paint missing...

In your guy's experience how much does it cost to remove and repair something like this?

Unfortunately I have had to use Dent Wizard once already on my coupe. Their basic price is around $125. It goes up from there (rarely does it go down :-) . Placement is an issue though. They work magic on flat surfaces, but if your dent is on an edge they may not get it all out.

In my case I had a ding right on the crease of my rear wheel-well. They were able to improve the dent and restore it to about 80%. There is still a nickel size indent though.

can someone tell me why the hell people are so careless when opening their car door?

I'm like totally paranoid now parking anywhere. I have to park a mile away to make sure nobody f*cks with my car.

2- peeps just don't give a $hit
3- peeps think that if it's not a BMW or Mercedes they can do as they wish!

That's right Diesel1. I just got a dent on my sedan's rear passenger door today..........it was right next to an Escalade. In this case, it was probably a kid coming out of the rear. Oh well........took the dent out in 15 minutes......phew.

Yep, it depends on the size, placement of, & depth of the dent. We normally charge $125 for the dent, but if there's multiple dents on the same panel, we will do a volume discount. I see you're down south........if you're in San Diego, I could refer you to someone really good. Let me know.

i had a dent on my driver side door about the size of a quarter. no paint damage though.. so i got paintless dent removal (PDR) done on it for only $65. the guy even came to my house and did it there so i didnt have the inconvenience of going anywhere.

I also was unfortuante enough to have some bastard make a small dent in the middle of my door. Small but such an eyesore.

I went and had paintless dent removal the next day. The guy said he normally charges $75, but because it was so small, he only charged me $50. He made the door look flawless again, so it was worth it in the end.
