Zano....OR ????
Zano, or Zaino?
For me, Zaino is overrated and overpriced. I like a good carnuba and for as often as I like to detail my car Zaino isn't the right product for me.
Folks swear by Zaino and no doubt it's a good product. I'm just a little more old school when it comes to detailing my car, and for me, it's more of an obsession.

I think I actually have one of the old girl all shined up. I mean, five years later and I still roll under the car to wash the backside of the rims. Every time..
Considering my medical issues, people think I'm crazy to worry about how my cars look.. LOL..

Have to wait until I'm back on my laptop. I'm on my iPad and can't plug in my external to get at the shots.
I'll do it though, so people can flame for having a bone stock six year old G.

Meh people don't really care around here. Stock or modded, it is a G.
BTW mine is a stock 6 year old G right now. It is all good though.
And as far as Zaino goes, i use it on my seats and thats it.

There are so many products out there, and you are going to get different answers from everybody. My personal opinion is that the only way to answer that question is to try a few and figure out which one works for you and your process best.
Personally I think Zaino is a great product. It is not a wax though, it is a sealant. Very different properties. I have a few other sealants that I also like, but Zaino ranks right up there in terms of shine quality and protection. For me, nuba and other waxes just aren't my choice.
And GeeWillikers...you wash the backside of the rims every time? WOW.

Zaino is a filler it won't remove swirls and scratches like all the other products do.. It will fill them in to be less visible.. And even at that it still doesn't fill them in 100 percent either.. It's very pricey filler basically..
There is a sealer/wax that works really well called HD poxy take a look at that for a wax

I agree that nothing compares to a high quality wax but Zaino does have a purpose, IMO.
Zaino is a non-abbrasive polymer sealant. It will mask/hide imperfections and does a fantastic job at what is was intended to do.
In terms of protection, it also offers much more longevity than a carnuba, for example.
A car parked in the sun for a few hours gets well over 100 degrees and the carnuba breaks down. The Zaino system, when applied correctly, lasts for months.
I detail my car and then apply several coats of Z5/Z2/Z6 and then once I have the car looking and feeling amazing, I then apply my waxes. You cannot apply Zaino on top of other waxes, but if done correctly and then maintained with wax, you only need to do it once or twice a year.
I Zaino in the Spring and Fall and apply wax throughout the year as necessary.
Zaino is easy to apply and work with, but it's a long process that's not for the impatient.
I like the stuff.
Oh, Leather in a Bottle is outstanding as well (Z10)
