Ok guys, I am pickcing my G this comming Tuesday. It's Black/Black, and am concerned about chipt (learned it the hard way from my burgundy bimmer 5er).

The question is: HOW and WHERE can I get the install of a 'Clear Bra'? Local dealer or some special shop? Please advise. Thanks!

 

I will asume by your question the dealer you are getting your car from didn't offer it to you?? The one on my car was installed by the dealer before we picked it up - we worked it into the deal. The one on my wifes sedan I bought and did it myself. The sedan was not too bad, but I would say find a shop to put it one.

My first choice was the dealer on my car - was able to work it into the deal and their people did a great job because they do a lot of the same vehicles over and over! second choice would be to go with somebody on the xpel.com site third choice would be discount clear bras on ebay and find somebody to put it on if you strike out on the first two choices, or are feeling cheap.

A search for Clear Bra should net a lot of useful threads.
I say get it done asap, before you pick it up if possible. I broke a windshield on the way home from picking up the car once....

i agree..i'm in louisville ky and can't find anyone near here to install a clear bra. maybe we can get enough people together and coax wil into coming out east for a group install.

no luck with the find an installer tool on xpel.com or the 3M tool http://selector.3m.com/selector/us/e...ss.asp?FAM=wtb Guess you could get a couple people together and try and do it yourself???

i got mine done at the dealership in columbus, they did an awesome job...worth the drive, just dont follow too close be hind trucks and other cars on the drive up....ask for Dwight and tell him Dr. Patel sent you, they'll take care of you. the number is 1800 837 1160
