more stuff but I dont want to polish it, lol. I did all the sanding by hand and with it on the car just cuz I felt lazy and didnt want to take off all the bolts and bs on it. I spent about 10 hrs so far on it and am pleased with the results. It's good to know I'm the ONLY one with this done on a M and I cant wait to have the rest of the engine bay painted piano black. Then I will have a friend take some pro shots of it all cleaned up and shinny!

Oh and i would recommend starting with the two covers on the timing cover. They will be small and if you dont like how it turns out they can be painted.

Polishing our under hood starting with the plenum isn't something you can do on your G without removing it and having the right tools available. You can do the small parts with a lot of elbow grease but that too is tedious work best left to Sean. (SXEXCX) I polished my Nismo differential cover/cooler cause it looked awful when I got it....light sandpaper....steelwool....compound....dremel....hi gh speed buffer and several coats of clear coat.

What areas in particular are tough to sand? Areas on the timing cover?
