Hey guys... I have a carbon Fiber hood my my car and its very dirty. I used to take my cars to those stupid drive thru washes where they dry by hand and damnit, the retarded soap they use messed up my hood and removed the clear coat on it. I was thinking of getting a clear coat on there again but I have actually seen someone buff it out with a blueish liquid and a buffer. I bought a buffer and tried to buff it out with 2 diff types of Mguiars wax and it wont come out. It shines when u look from the side but when u look at the hood straight on, u can see white blotch marks that wont really come out easily. What do u guys suggest I use rather than getting it clear coated.
PS. I DONT take it to any stupid car wash anymore. I was my car myself

 

I'm sorry to say if the clear coat has been removed, no matter how much time you buff or polish the surface, it will only dull and appear to be a milky color in no time again.....

If the clear coat is truly gone, you will need to wet sand and then apply a new clear coat for the surface to stay protected.....
