What you guys think of my timing cover polish work so far??
Not even close to being done yet, but here is what I've done a little at a time over the past 2 months

in all honesty it's a serious PITA and I don't suggest anyone do this unless you have serious time on your hands
If you want quality work talk to SxExCx for polished stuff

what's your process? did you just start by using a lot grit sandpaper and working your way up? you should find a few flapper wheels that are 2000 grit or so and also use some polishing compound. there's also another type of polishing wheel you can use that shortens the time. i forget the name of it.
having the right tools makes all the difference. you can take alittle pride in your parts when you're done. doing projects like these really make you appreciate the part more.
anyway, looking good. be sure to post more pics when you're done. the finished product should look great.

yea me and my buddy tryed to polish his upper plenum and after two days of sanding and about 50 dollars in polishing compound, sand paper, and polishing wheels we just gave up. i would much rather buy polished parts lol

Yes I already have all the required tools, time is the only thing I wish I had more of
But it's true that you fall in love with the parts even more after you put your own elbow grease into it
