buffing wax off wheels?

Haven't gotten a response in the "ask a pro" thread up top, so re-asking here~

So I'd like to have an easier time buffing wheel wax off of my wheels, as well as a method that should get more of it off than via elbow grease.

I've been looking at those powerball style adapters for drills, my wheels have 11 spokes and are a real pain to buff by hand. Has anyone used one of these devices on their wheels? And should it be of concern that my paint has a matte finish? Thanks!

I would suggest just using a polish by hand so you dont end up damaging the wheel. Otherwise bring it to a professional

Apply it much thinner than you are and it will be easier. Also, do not use one of those on your matte finish as it will shine it up since it does have abrasive abilities.

hey guys i got some new wheels not long ago there not chrome they are painted gloss black with a chrome lip. the only way I've been cleaning them is soap and water. is there any product i can put on the painted part to keep the shine up? or something to help repel brake dust? everything i look at says not for painted areas or says it can hurt a clear coat.

Only wax. No "cleaning" product will make them shiny.
