G35 two step correction job

Infinity G35 Two step correction and
full interior cleaning and conditioning

This client has been trying to get on my books for about 6 months now, but with timing and scheduling conflicts, it has been tough to get something lined up. Apparently he had the car wash do a “quick and dirty” on the car a few months back…lets just say he wont be going over there anymore after the results I was able to provide for him! 8 hours later, he was super ecstatic to see the car and to sit in a “new interior” with a buttery feel to the paint! I believe the words were “hasn’t looked this good ever!”

This shows just how dirty the aggressive clay was getting…I used one side and then flipped half over to show a contrast.

Wow! I never knew a polish could make such a difference in the paint clarity. I love the 9th picture - the door shot. I always thought the after shots were just staged making the paint look better than it really is. Would this make as big of a difference on IP paint?

you bet it would!

polishing is what brings out the depth and clarity from the paint, then waxing seals it all up/in. 95% of the looks of the car come from the prep steps - wash, decon, clay, compounding, polishing, paintwork cleansing....then the last bit comes from waxing

you can wax a car 10 times and I can polish a car once and the polishing side will look better

No afters are ever staged... it really looks that good. Pay for a proper detail from a good detailer and not $125 at the car wash down the street and you'll see a MASSIVE difference. And yes, IP can clean up pretty well, but white is still the worst color paint for reflections. It would still be a big difference.

I don't know how people get cars that bad. Looks like they were applying hairspray inside the car to get stuff to stick like that.

I know it's business, but some people don't deserve to have cars that clean.

the only thing you have to look out for with after pics are ones NOT in the sun, not light, inside garage where every car looks good, even if never detailed in 5 years, etc.

What did you use on the seats/center console? I have one greasy spot on the center console, where my elbow always sits, that I can never seem to get off.

It may not be a build up of anything, you may have actually worn away some of the material from a combination of friction and human oils/contaminants, wearing it away. If it is just a build up a regular cleaner like the 303 Cleaner & Spot Remover or the Leatherique combo should remove it with no problem.

whole thing was a non stop 8 hours start to finish.

Greg is right! what seems like dirty spots might actually be worn away material

I think I know what you're talking about. I use Zaino leather products to clean and condition the center console and it looks awesome until someone gets in there wearing lotion.

I hope not! What leads me to believe it's a build up is that it really seems to come to the surface during the day when my car is hot as h*** and it's greasy to the touch.

I hope you used a hazmat suit to clean the whip... pretty sad how people run their sh^t into the ground then have to get the inside and outside "restored"... usually this is a str8 chick move.

Nice work,though.. im sure this dirty f^ker will be back...lol
