Yet another vote for zaino. I spend ~8 hours each year doing my G. Four hours for the first complete zaino application in January and four more for the application in July. Water beads up for all 6 months!!! I have been so impressed with zaino, I actually called Sal and got him to sponsor the FGC!!! Click the link in my sig for details...

something stupid that you probaby wont beleive but

Ferarri and Porsche recommend washing the car with cold water only and not usung any type of soap. so just use a pressure washer at your local self service car wash, hose it off good, then spray it off with the spot free rinse and use a good microfiber towel to get the dirt off

nobody will do this though

if you still want to use something Zymol has this product called Auto Bathe, it has no soap in it

Zaino, once you start you will never be able to stop. It is hands down the best product on the market. Do the research there is a lot of info esp. on autopia.com.

I have used many but now I am a faithful Zanoist

99TL and 04 4runner pics after cleaning.

The TL wasnt washed/ cleaned for a month . And we took the 4runner mudding.

Clean both with meguirs gold class car wash, and then a coat of NXT Gen wax.

The TL is the machine I keep clean Every weekend it gets hand washed, by me.

Must I continually post this link?

http://www.nsxsc.com/nsexcitement/waxtest.html

A test found the same result on an M3 website (sorry link now dead), this time including the NXT.

Having used nearly everything Zaino sells for two years now, I can say with confidence that it is by far the best stuff I've used in 22 years of owning cars.
My buddy was extremely skeptical. He has a black GMC 2500 truck. We did half the tailgate with Mothers, half with Zaino. He did the whole Mothers process and all we did for the Zaino was apply 2 coats of Z2 with some Z6 in between. No Dawn wash. No clay bar, no Z1 or ZFX. A month later, the Zaino was the same as when we applied it. The Mothers was as good as gone. He was pissed to lose the bet, but he is now among the converted.

Cheers,
DB
