Clear film for headlights?

Will clearbra or 3M paint protection film stop the hazing of headlights?

It's advertised for protection only, but has anyone who uses it noticed that it stops the yellowing?

I don't know what brand is on my headlights but my 03 g35 came with, but it has the dealer installed bra on it which included the headlight covers, and my headlights still look pretty good! And it's close to 10 years old!
In stark contrast my older brother has an 03 350z without anything on his headlights and he has to constantly use headlight restoring kits (I don't think he's doing it all right every time)
So I would have to endorse the idea, get them professionally restored then clean them off with some denatured alcohol (to get anything off that will prevent the adherence) and slap that stuff on. I've had the car for over a year and never seen any haze

film will be the best bet!

an o6 porsche had a really jacked up front end, but had film on the headlights. WHen I pulled off the film while detailing it, the lenses were near perfect! A quick light polishing and they were perfectly clear!

Pretty sure that the film would help with oxidizing headlights. As far as keeping them from slowly turning yellow, that I'm not sure.
