Question Deionized water EVERYDAY ?

My new job at mercedes benz has its perks such as the car wash has Deionized water. I get to use it whenever and this might be a really dumb question but if i use it on a daily basis would there be any adverse effects to my paint. I usually just give my G a good spray and let it dry off by itself by evaporating or air drying it by driving fast.

Thanks.

no adverse affects. Since the water is DI, it basically really pure.

If it were me, you could RINSE everyday, but WASHING everyday will be a swirl factory over time.

I say wax regularly, and rinse responsibly (water conservation )

I applaud your commitment to lazy with the leaf blower. Using towels to dry her off for almost 3 minutes is over rated.

Now if we can get a chair with wheels, small engine with a throttle control and a beer holder while leaf blowing....then...only then will true lazy be achieved.

I will be in my shop this evening creating this miracle............

and we got another ignorant one !. its not being lazy its called car care, the less you touch your car such as drying it with a chamois that has picked up dirt over many uses, the more swirl marks you get when drying off your car. i paid good money for a paint correction to remove all the swirl marks on my paint, i intend to keep it that way as long as possible. so please stop being a handicap person, youre making other handicap people look bad.

if you do not know what paint correction is here are some example pics from my appt.

Love Richard's work at Show Car Detailing. I've been going to him for more than a year! As a matter of fact, my G is at his place getting some Leatherique love as we speak.

Now, the leaf blower idea is ****. Why? Because I use one, too! As Jutn35 said, the less you touch your car the less swirl you'll end up with. Since I Opti-coated my car, it has been so much easier to wash my G more often. I usually go to a touchless car wash place, wash the car, and use my own leaf blower to get the remaining water off the car. I seldom have to whip out my microfiber tower, but I still use sometimes to get some of the real stubborn contaminants off the car. But when I do, I make sure use plenty of lubricants such as quick detailer (Prima Hydro or Maguires Ultimate quick detailer).
