Wheel Wax
Wheel Wax
We posted before about the amount of break dust on the wheels on the G35 and some of you had some really great suggestions. I've been doing my homework and found a good product. I've only had my G-35 since Fiday and already the wheels are dirty. Now, don't get me wrong, this is normal, but it looks ugly. So I found a product called Wheel wax. They say it actually repels break dust. Has anyone here used it before?

Re: Wheel Wax
You can put any wax/sealant on your rims. They all help prevent brake dust from sticking to your rims. I personally use a sealant on my rims since it last longer than a wax. Also if you use any rim cleaner on your rims, it will strip the wax/sealant and you have to reapply it.

Re: Wheel Wax
i noticed the same thing on my coupe. i wonder if raybestos makes the quiet stop brake pads for our cars yet. i had them on the front of my t-bird and there was no brake dust at all, the pads are made from porcelin, my rims would get dirty from the road grime and mud before i had brake dust build up.
