Hey guys help me out chea. I recently had my car detailed (supposively the best in town, but apparently not). Unfortunately the car is black and I still have some buffer trails on my door side when I squat down in the sun. Before I didnot have any holograms and I shud have followed my first mind and only let them touch the hood and truck which were what really needed it. I have already taken it back once , but now I'm going to do it myself if I want them gone.

I had checked out meguiars forum were they removed a similar situation with scratch x, a polish and then a wax. I was going to use the same products but in. Walmart I came across a kit oftheirs with the same types of products but two different. It has their ultimate polish and some sort of quick wax. Instead of what was used here: .

Should this work permanently to get back to where I was or is there anything cheaper/easier? Suggestions. Im doing this all by hand.

On a sexond note I know my paint isnt the best and infini paint is pretty soft itself. Most black gs ive seen aren't as good on paint either. Could this be why im having issues?

 

You probably aren't going to be able to truly remove buffer holograms by hand especially with black paint.I'd check out http://www.autopia.org or www.autogeek.net. Both have a lot of tutorials and advice. IMHO you're probably going to need to find a detailer you can trust to remove the holograms with a dual action or rotary polisher. People that really know detailing will tell you to start with the least aggressive product/process and move up from there. Detailing is 90% process and 10% product.

 

anyone else? I used some meguiars quick detailer and it hid them pretty good.
