Ghost lettering

Any ideas how to get rid of this? I tried WD40 and Goo gone so far, no results =/

I have the same problem. I tried everything but it wouldn't go away. My friend had his car buffed/waxed and his disappeared.

Hmm.. I just had my car profesionally buffed like 2 weeks ago for a different reason but that didnt get rid of it either apparently lol

Hmm maybe you can try rubbing compound but most likely it's due to your paint getting oxidized and the paint under the lettering is almost brand new. It's a difference in paint

Odd... WD40 worked for me. Let it sit for a good 30sec before wiping down.

Have a professional detailer go at it with a first cut compound. This is a surface problem that could be cured by compounding.
