Headlight scratch removal

Hey guy, Im trying to find a way to remove the scratches on my headlight lens the only way i can find is sanding it and buffing it. However im not sure how well that will work therefore i was wondering if any of you have done it and can give me some advice or maybe a different method to remove the scratches.

I wonder this too, and then i used the search feature to find many, many answers.

It seems wet sanding 1500-2500-4000 works best to remove scratches, but cannot fix cracks. FROM HERE YOU MUST seal the headlight with plastic sealant or wax it and prepare to sand next year.

Thank you, I have been looking for a better sealant.

Sanding every 2 years is still 2 much

Depends how deep the scratches are. Start off with wet sanding 1200 to 1500 final 2000. Use rubbing compound to clean it up
