Question Repainting front and rear bumper. Paint Shop. Chrome Grille

I have a 2004 Infiniti G35 sedan with the areo body kit. The car is gloss black and the front bumper has many chips on it from highway use. The rear bumper has streaks from luggage going in and out and a 1" chip from the previous owner.
What would be a good price for a repaint of both bumpers?

Maaco said that they would remove the bumper, strip the paint, and prep and paint it for about $300. I know maaco isn't very trusty, but ive seen more positive jobs from them than bad jobs. Since this is not a full body respray there is less chance of a gigantic mistake. And id rather not pay $1500 just to get my bumpers painted.

I don't need to hear the whole "you get what you pay for"
I'm not going to pay them the 150 for the basic and 350 is the best option they have for the one bumper.

Also what about the front chrome grille? Know anywhere I could buy one or anything I can buy to make it a nice chrome finish again?

I would look for a local reputable repair shop that uses a decent quality paint like DuPont or PPG.

I was just quoted $400 by a local shop to reshoot the rear bumper to cover up a chip by the license plate.

Dropped it off today to have the roof redone due to some acid rain contamination that will not come off. Buff/polish/sealer on the car while she's in there.

I won't give you the you get what you pay for sermon but think for a little more $ you will be much happier in the long run IMO.

I would look for a used set for sale. Much cheaper. I've heard way too many bad things about Maaco....so idk

I went to a paint shop who put my exact color into a spray can and painted a few body parts. I got an adhesion promoter and the more quality 2 step paint (color + gloss). I promise you if you follow all steps correctly and have a good hand you can easily get a flawless match to your current color. Everything costed me about $40

Ask your insurance agent where, that's what they do!

It's so important to find a quality body shop that will correctly paint your bumpers using the right materials! There's no comparison to the results from those "Cheap Shops" with poor results and quality. Depending on where you live, strip & repaint should cost around $300 each. Your insurance agent will know where they do quality body work in your area, they deal with that every day all day long...Gary
