Possible for the leather guard to work on perforated leather without clogging any of the AC holes?

Also I have always wanted to try the C1 with EXOv2. Any personal experience on quality of protection and application ease? Currently I have been using the Modesta BC-03 protectant for my paint. Professional opinion on which is better?
