Just got my G, looking to start out with some products

Whats up fellow drivers...

I just picked up my 03 Diamond Graphite 6MT Coupe on Monday after finally parting ways with my first car (99 Mitsubishi Galant).

After a brief snow storm here in Jersey a few days ago, my car is naturally not looking so fresh and clean as it was the day i got the car lol. I have a gift card to Pep Boys for around $100 and it would be greatly appreaciated if someone would be kind enough to give me a run down of some basic products i could use to keep the G looking clean inside and out. Thanks in advance.

- Nick

vinlex for the dashboard

also buy yourself a portable vacuum that you can keep in your car

you're from jersey huh... how about getting yourself a club. That'll keep it clean from thieves lol well not really...

seriously though some products you may want are one of those snow brushes / ice scrapers for all this crappy weather... Other things:

Microfiber towels (although I get mine from pakshak)
California Car Duster
RainX
Some sort of Wax product & car wash soap... I prefer CG or Zaino though
ArmorAll wipes for the interior vinyl pieces
A good tire pressure guage
ClayBar kit but you probably don't need it right now

I'm sure when you go you'll see other stuff that you'll want in there...

Recommendations:
1. Zymol car wash
2. Meguir's Hot Shine (for tires)
3. NXT Quick Detail Spray (after washing and between coats of wax)
4. NXT wax (I prefer Zaino but it's only available online from Zainostore)
5. Applicator pads for wax and tire shine
6. Good sponge not some cheap garbage
7. Bucket
8. Nevr-dull (to clean exhaust tips)
Items I wouldn't Recommend:
1. Chamois-I use 100% white cotton towels, no scratches
2. Armor All-Doesn't last as long as Meguir's & doesn't look as good
3. Anything Turtle Wax

When waxing your G DO NOT use a circular motion, go back and forth to prevent swirl marks. Post some pics once you have your G shining.
