Black G, going to get swirls buffed out then Crystal Guard Question

I have a one year old black G that has tiny swirl marks all over. I am going to go to a detailing shop to have them buff out the swirls. Should the buffing process remove all of the old wax. I will tell them not to apply any wax afterwards as I will be using CrystalGuard. Do I need to Dawn wash the car after they buff out the swirls?

Ever think about doing it yourself? Here is a thread with some good info.

No need to wash with dawn since buffing will remove all of your old wax.

If they are getting all the swirls and scrathes out of the paint then they better cut through all the wax to get to the paint. The polish that they will use to get the scratches out should take all the wax off. Most likely you're smart to do it yourself because most detailers don't take the proper steps to wax a car properly. However I would still wash the car after the coat of polish because when you drive it home and it sits outside the detailers place it will be getting dirty and you don't want to seal that in when you wax the car. It only takes tops a half hour to wash a car that was just polished so hopefully it's worth it, especially if you're gonna do a good wax.
