Zaino Z6 question

I, like Kojo, am in the Northeast and was out yesterday afternoon on the first sunny day since I got my G35 Garnet Fire 6MT doing the Zaino thing for the first time. However, I had to do it in two sessions because it's so humid and I finished with the Z2 coat this morning just as it started to rain. My baby looks great so far. But, it's still raining and supposed to rain every day for the next week or so. So, I didn't get to the Z6. Where does that leave me if the weather doesn't let me get back to it for a week?

Another question. As I was doing the tires and the black around the bottom of the car with the Zaino tire stuff, I come across this piece of narrow tape running across the length of the bottom front. I didn't take it off yet, but it looks like crap. Is this some protective thing the dealer just forgot to peel off before I got the car?

Don't worry about Z6, just put it on next time you wash or polish your car. As for the tape, I had it too and pulled it off. I think they forgot to remove it.

Re: Zaino Z6 question

Yeah, I know what you mean about all this rain here in the metro Philly area. May was literally a washout, especially as far as weekend weather goes.

I'd been trying to get my Zaino on for weeks with no luck. But I jumped on it as soon as I got home from work on Friday evening, while it was clear and dry for a change, and worked on it until after dusk. I then rolled the car out of the garage about 7:00 am Saturday to finish it off, but it started raining again around 8:30. So I actually had to finish up my last coat of Z6 back in the garage.

But Z6 is so simple to apply, you can do it anytime, anywhere, even cooped up in a garage as cramped as mine. Don't even sweat that part. It's the easiest part to do, easier even than actually washing your car. But you do want to do it. The Z6 really makes your shine pop!

I actually wasn't all that impressed with Zaino ... until after the Z6 went on, that is.
